How It Works

Place your order online and choose Affordable Firearms as the FFL for delivery. If you don't see us listed, contact Jason directly to arrange the paperwork.

Tell Jason what is on the way using the incoming-transfer form. Include your contact information and order details. Shipments must come from a licensed FFL; no private-party shipments.

Wait for Jason to contact you when the item is actually ready for pickup. Once contacted, use the link he sends to select a flexible pickup appointment time.

Arrive at your appointment with valid documents and cash. You will complete the ATF Form 4473 and any required background check to finalize your transfer.
What to bring
Bring valid, unexpired identification.
Texas ID: A Texas driver license or Texas state photo ID showing your current residence is the usual option.
Passport: Bring your valid passport plus government-issued proof of your current Texas residence, such as vehicle registration or voter registration.
Active-duty military: If relying on Texas duty-station residency, bring valid military photo ID plus PCS orders showing your permanent duty station in Texas.
Everyone completes ATF Form 4473, including LTC holders. A valid qualifying Texas LTC can exempt you from the separate NICS check; otherwise a NICS background check is required.

Other services & policies
An additional $25 holding fee applies when pickup is scheduled more than 14 days after my initial message that your item is ready. Shipping prices based on basic USPS; expedited options cost extra. Jason generally does not buy guns, but you may contact him if you have something of interest.
